This revised policy supersedes all previous editions and establishes the fundamental principles, objectives and mandatory requirements that guide key financial functions, including cash and treasury management, asset management, budgeting, expenditure control, revenue recognition and financial stewardship.

The policy further provides comprehensive guidelines for the execution of financial processes and defines the standards and frameworks for both statutory financial reporting and management reporting, thereby promoting consistency, transparency, accountability and compliance across the Corporation.

This revision was undertaken to align the policy with evolving technological advancements, changes in the regulatory environment, emerging best practices and the Corporation’s strategic priorities. The provisions contained herein are binding on all employees, with particular relevance to staff within the Finance & Investments Department, Credit Department and Branch Operations.

Adherence to this policy is mandatory and forms an integral part of the Corporation’s internal control framework, governance structures and performance management processes. Compliance will be regularly monitored and evaluated to ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement in financial management practices.
